Brooks Buffalos

The Brooks Buffalos are a varsity high school football team for students in grades 10-12 for Brooks and the County of Newell. 

​

The Buffalos have competed in the Rangeland Football Conference for over 30 years, capturing 10 league titles in the process. This success has translated to the provincial level, winning provincial championships at the Tier II level in 1995 and 1997, as well as Tier III in 2009.

Past experience in the game is not necessary to join. Player equipment and transportation for away games are provided.

REGISTRATION/EQUIPMENT HANDOUT

APRIL 28TH FROM 4-5PM AT THE BCHS FOOTBALL ROOM, (located next to the gym at the back of the school)

PRACTICE: TUESDAY & WEDNESDAY STARTING APRIL 29TH. PRACTICES WILL RUN FROM 4:30-6PM AT THE BCHS FOOTBALL FIELD

JAMBOREE:

THERE WILL BE A JAMBOREE IN MEDICINE HAT AT THE METHANEX BOWL ON WEDNESDAY JUNE 3. TRAVEL WILL BE PROVIDED FROM BCHS. DETAILS WILL BE GIVEN DURING CAMP. 

​

OPEN TO ANY GRASSLANDS STUDENTS CURRENTLY IN GRADES 9, 10, OR 11. NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY!

EQUIPMENT WILL BE PROVIDED BUT PLAYERS SHOULD BRING THEIR OWN CLEATS AND WATER BOTTLE.
